The Chrisman Lady Cardinals were on the road for their game on January 16th against the Charleston Lady Trojans.
Chrisman’s Makenzie Mitchell came ready to play as she gave the Cards six points in the first quarter.
The Trojans’ Elizabeth Swies, Maggie Englum, Annie Logsdon and Macie Babbs answered Chrisman as they took a 12-6 lead.
In the second, the Lady Trojans continued to hold onto their lead with a score of 23-17 going into halftime.
In the third quarter, Chrisman’s Olivia Radke scored only three points for the birds as they continued to trail with a score of 29-20.
In the fourth, Chrisman attempted a comeback, but the Trojans continued to dominate as they dealt the Cardinals a 36-27 loss.
For Chrisman, Makenzie Mitchell led with twelve points, followed by Olivia Radke with eleven.
Mitchell also had ten rebounds for a double double, five steals and four blocks. Radke also had four steals. Bailey Presslor and Addison Phipps had two points each.
For Charleston, Maggie Englum led with ten points, followed by Annie Logsdon with seven and Megan Meyescough with six. Elizabeth Swies and Macie Babbs had four points each.
Bailey Harris and Kenzi Wanek-Clementi had two points each. Ruthie Okranski ended the game with one point.
