On the afternoon of December 27th, the Chrisman Philathea House received a generous donation.
The Paris Wal-Mart recently partnered with the Edgar County Community Foundation to help residents with clothing needs.
The store donated two pick up trucks of new clothing for the foundation to distribute. One of the loads went to the Chrisman Philathea House for residents in Chrisman, Hume and other locations in Northern Edgar County.
The second truck was delivered to the Compassionate Clothing Ministry in Paris. Residents from Kansas wanting help with clothing needs are encouraged to visit the Paris site.
