The Chrisman Area Community Club met November 21 at the Chrisman Café. Twenty-five members enjoyed a delicious meal together.
President Dan Moore opened the meeting. Minutes of the previous meeting and the treasurer’s report were approved.
Plans were finalized for the Christmas parade on December 7.
It will contain 22 lighted floats and other entries in the parade are welcome. The parade will begin at 7 p.m. and start at the nursing home and come around the square. Santa and Mrs, Claus will be in attendance and will meet the children at the library following the parade.
The Community Club will hold its annual chili supper at the American Legion before the parade which will begin at 4:00. Chili, hot dogs, sheet cake and beverages will be served for a monetary donation. Food will be served until 7:00 or until we run out of food.
The club would like to thank the community for supporting our Kans-for-Kids program by recycling aluminum cans in the bin on the northeast corner of the square.
