The 2022-2023 school year has brought about quite a few changes at Chrisman-Scottland Junior High and Chrisman High School. Several of the faces around the building may have changed, but the Eagle spirit and Cardinal pride are still alive and well! One change in the school has been the grand opening of The Cardinal Cupboard. The Cardinal Cupboard is a place where any of the students in grades 6-12 can access food no matter their situation. Students who forgot to pack a snack before an after school activity, need to take food home for the evening, or simply want to grab something for the way home can stop in at the Cardinal Cupboard to get what they need. Students have access to canned goods, dry goods, cereal bars, cereal, dairy products, frozen foods, and a whole lot more. Thanks to Trisha Brinkley for organizing this amazing resource.
I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to not only the amazing students and staff at Chrisman-Scottland Junior High and Chrisman High School, but also the community for being so welcoming and helping to make my return to the Edgar County CUD 6 such an easy transition. I couldn’t ask for a better place to be. I look forward to continuing to work alongside each of you to make a positive impact on the lives of our students.
