The Chrisman Lady Cardinals Volleyball took on the Red Hill Lady Salukis on September 24th. The Lady Cardinals took the win easily in two sets (25-15, 25-19).
Brianna Barna had 2 aces. Reese Anderson had 1 kill, 1 ace, 2 blocks and 1 dig. Jaidyn Alexander had 2 aces and 4 digs. Sequoyah Cook had 4 kills. Autumn Baker had 1 dig. Piper Knight had 2 kills, 6 aces and 3 digs. Peyton Gore had 1 kill and 3 blocks.
On September 26th, the lady birds hosted the Martinsville Lady Bluestreaks. The Lady Cardinals took the win in two sets (25-16, 25-23).
Reese Anderson had 1 kill, 1 ace and 12 blocks. Addison Phipps had 2 kills. Jaidyn Alexander had 1 ace. Sequoyah Cook had 1 kill. Autumn Baker had 2 kills and 2 aces. Piper Knight had 2 kills and 4 assists. Peyton Gore had 6 blocks.
The Georgetown/Ridge Farm Lady Buffs came to town on October 4th. The Lady Buffs took the first set (21-25), but the Lady Cards battled back to take the second (25-22), forcing a game three. It was the Lady Cardinals that came out on top with a third set and match victory (25-17).
Brianna Barna had 4 kills, 1 ace, 2 digs and 13 assists. Asa Hoult had 3 digs. Reese Anderson had 4 kills, 9 blocks and 10 digs. Addison Phipps had 1 ace and 10 digs. Sequoyah Cook had 1 ace, 1 block and 9 digs. Autumn Baker had 2 kills and 1 dig. Leah Phipps had 4 digs. Piper Knight had 3 kills, 1 ace and 9 digs.
The Lady Cards were on the road for their match against Bismarck-Henning-Rossville-Alvin (BHRA) Lady Blue Devils on October 6th. Chrisman lost the match in two sets (15-25, 17-25).
Brianna Barna had 3 kills and 14 blocks. Reese Anderson had 1 ace and 3 blocks. Addison Phipps had 1 kill. Sequoyah Cook had 3 blocks. Autumn Baker had 1 ace. Peyton Gore had 3 blocks.
On October 8th, the Lady Cardinals participated in the Paris Tournament. In that tournament, they took on the hosting Paris Lady Tigers. The girls fought hard, but Paris came away with a two set match win (17-25, 16-25). Later, they would take on Oakland-Kansas-Shiloh Lady Titans. Chrisman lost this match in two sets (13-25, 15-25).
On October 10th, the Lady Cardinals hosted the Judah Christian Tribe. The birds would win the first set (25-21), but the tribe fought back to win the second (22-25), leaving it up to a match deciding game. The game went back and forth, but it was the Lady Cardinals who came away with the victory (25-23).
Brianna Barna had 2 digs and 9 assists. Reese Anderson had 4 kills, 13 blocks and 10 digs. Addison Phipps had 4 digs. Sequoyah Cook had 3 kills, 2 blocks and 13 digs. Autumn Baker had 1 ace and 1 dig. Peyton Reasor had 1 kill and 1 dig. Piper Knight had 1 kill and 12 digs.
On October 11th, the ladies took on the Lady Tigers of Westville on the tigers home court. Westville proved who owned the court, taking a victory in two sets (11-25, 14-25).
On October 13th, the Lady Cardinals hosted the Armstrong Lady Trojans. Chrisman took the first set victory (26-24). The Lady Trojans would take the second (10-25) and eventually the third set (11-25), handing Chrisman a loss.
