Tim Tingley

Timothy Lee Tingley, 54, of Chrisman, Illinois, passed away October 2, 2022, at his home in Chrisman.
He was born in Danville, Illinois, on July 5, 1968, the son of Carroll and Wanda Tingley.
Timothy was preceded in death by his loving father, Carroll Tingley. Left to Cherish his memory are his two daughters, Taylor Lynn Tingley (Tylor Sutton fiance) of Lafayette, Indiana, and Carroline Leigh Tingley of Paris, Illinois; his three granddaughters Serenity Ann Swafford, Sophia Grace-Lynn Sutton, and Tinsley Rae Sutton of Lafayette, Indiana; and his three brothers, Jeff Tingley of Logansport, Indiana, John (Betsy Marvin) Tingley, and David (Missy) Tingley; and multiple cousins, nieces and nephews.
Tim grew up in Chrisman and graduated from Chrisman High School in 1986, where he met his first wife, mother of his children Stephanie (Tingley) Robertson. Tim started working at the Chrisman IGA during High School. He worked for Kenny and Paul Tuggle for two years after High School as their Hired Farm hand. Tim worked at Danville Metal Stamping for 32 years. Tim loved to cook in his spare time. He was also a big history and aircraft buff. He loved tinkering in the garage and spending summers in the pool. For the past few years Tim has been traveling with his mother, Wanda, and daughter, Carroline.
A few of the places they have been to Puerto Rico, Branson, Missouri, Niagara Falls, St. Louis arch and Mackinac Island.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Chrisman Christian Church Food Pantry.
