How did you become a believer in Jesus Christ? When you look back, who comes to mind as those who shared Jesus with you? Did you know that God could have accomplished His work without anyone? But he chooses to reach the lost through believers. What a privilege!
In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus charges his disciples to “go and make disciples of all nations………..We are to extend his unconditional love to the lost, the needy and the hurting people in and around Chrisman.
Second, we are to help train people in God’s ways which is the mission of every church. When we gather for Worship, He pours out his love to overflow in all of us.
Too many Christians are content to settle for minimal belief. They accept Christ, follow him in Baptism, and then go no further. If you do this you will miss out on Joy. We have been studying The Seven Steps to Joy- Assurance, Baptism, Church Attendance, Bible Study, Prayer, Giving of ourself and our talents, and Soul-Winning.
We all have a specific call on our life and a purpose and responsibility. It is to reach out to others. When the Church takes the Great Commission seriously, God is going to bless by opening up doors of opportunities that help all of our churches to grow again.
Do you have empty pews at your church? Wouldn’t you like to see them full? With the number of people in Chrisman there is enough to fill every church to capacity.
People are longing for relief from pain and hopelessness, and we have the answer and we have been commanded by the Lord. Are we faithful to the command? Will we take time to be like the ones who told us about Jesus and invited us for the first time.
Our church is full of imperfect people. Some may even call us hypocrites. That excuse will not hold for you one day. What are you going to do about this Jesus?
