Chrisman Crime Report

•Staphan Bones, 25, Chrisman, pleaded guilty to a Class A misdemeanor domestic violence charge. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail to be served as electronic home monitoring with credit for three days previously served, two years of probation, a $500 fine, court costs, various state fees, an order to have no contact with the victim and an order to obtain domestic violence counseling. In exchange for the guilty plea, the state dismissed a Class 2 felony aggravated domestic violence charge.
•Otis Denney, Chrisman, was arrested for aggravated domestic battery, possession of drug equipment, unlawful restraint, domestic battery possession of meth and criminal damage to property. He was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending bond being set.
