Chrisman Library News

Just want to remind those who are going to be part of the library’s sesquicentennial cookbook that we don’t have much time left before it has to go to the printer.
We have not done a cookbook before and really want it to be special! So be sure and get those recipes in before June 10. We can photocopy them or you can e-mail a scan/picture to chrismanlib@midwestfirst.com if that is more convenient. Thanks!
The kid’s summer reading will kick off on June 16 with a program from Forest Glen. We will have a special speaker here at 2 p.m. and everybody is welcome.
Younger kids be sure and bring an adult. It will last about 45 minutes and I think it will be fun. Also, there will be rewards for reading books this summer! Ice cream and pizza coupons for those who read and then write about it! Come in and get the details!
Doug Cochran, who is running for Edgar County Sheriff will be here on Thursday, June 9 from 5 to 7. He is coming to listen to citizen comments and answer questions.
