The Chrisman Area Community Club met Monday, April 18, at the Christian Church. Twenty-five members and one guest enjoyed a great meal prepared by the ladies of the Christian Church.
President Dan Moore opened the meeting. Minutes of the last meeting and the treasurer’s reports were approved.
Plans are being made for our community’s sesquicentennial in September. Monetary donations are being accepted at First Farmers Bank and helpers for the event will be needed.
Our club’s sausage and pancake breakfast will be served Saturday, May 7, at the American Legion. Serving will be from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. or until we run out of food. Cost of the meal is a free-will donation.
Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7 will our community-wide garage sales. You may contact Kay Fidler to get your garage sale listed on our map.
