As Christians, we value the knowledge of Christ, His Triumphant Victory over death and the grave.
This month we will celebrate it again. Easter Sunday will be full of activities that acknowledge Jesus Christ and all that He has done and promises to do for his children. One of the promises is that He will be with us. However, these trying times have people questioning. The Christian life is characterized by a growth process-from spiritual milk to solid food. We absorb the truths of our faith as we travel this journey.
The answer to the question is a loud YES! God is in both the triumphs and the tragedies of life.
He either sends them or allows them to happen. While God permits some hard times, we must not forget the goodness of God. God is good (Psalm 145:8-9) his purposes are good. God is sovereign (Psalm 103:19), so nothing happens that he doesn’t allow because He is in control; God promises to work things for our good (Romans 8:28) and He keeps His promises. (2 Corinthians1:20). Think about Joseph. He was betrayed by his brothers, falsely accused by his employer’s wife, imprisoned unjustly, left powerless and for the most part forgotten. But he refused to be swayed by the circumstances, he grasped the deeper truth that God orchestrated it all for good. Whether the Lord sends a trial or permits it, He has said He will use it as part of His plan for our good. The question is Do you believe Him? We serve a Risen Savior and because He lives, we shall live also. Don’t miss the opportunity to Worship and learn more about God. There are churches all over Chrisman expecting you. They have services planned with you in mind.
