The Chrisman Area Community Club met Monday, March 21, at the Chrisman Café. Twenty-eight members were in attendance and enjoyed a delicious meal together.
President Dan Moore opened the meeting. Minutes and treasurer’s reports were approved.
Many verbal and written thank you notes were received by recipients of our food baskets at Christmas.
The club approved partial funding for the Chrisman Post Prom event at the Paris bowling alley.
The club will help sponsor T-Ball again this year.
The club will make a donation to the High School theater program.
Scholarship applications will be available soon for four scholarships our club will award this year.
Spring Fling will be held Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7. Garage sales will also be held those two days. Our annual Spring Fling pancake and sausage breakfast will be held on Saturday, May 7, beginning at 7 a.m., at the American Legion. Cost will be free-will donation.
All club officers are retained for another year.
With no further business to be discussed, the meeting was adjourned. The next meeting will be Monday, April 18, at the Christian Church.
