The Chrisman-Scottland Lady Eagles 7th grade Volleyball team began their Regional run on February 28th against Judah Christian.
The Lady Eagles took the victory in two sets (25-9, 25-10). Emma Williamson had 16 aces. Morgan Simpson had 5 aces. Mikayla Wheeler had 3 kills. Emma Brown had 2 aces and Hannah Spain had 1 ace.
On March 1st, the girls took on Heritage in the Regional Semi-Finals.
The Lady Eagles took the first set (25-16), but Heritage battled back to take the second (21-25), forcing a third set.
Though it was close, the Lady Eagles came away with the match win (25-20). Emma Wilson had 9 aces, Lyndsi Smith had 4 aces and Gracie Smith had 1 ace.
The seventh grade Regional Championship took place on March 3rd with a match against Philo.
The Lady Eagles fought hard to win the Championship, but ultimately fell to Philo in two sets (19-25, 23-25). Mikayla Wheeler had 1 ace and 2 kills. Lyndsi Smith had 10 aces. Gracie Smith and Lily Crawford had 1 kill each.
The eighth grade Lady Eagles began their run at Regionals with a game against Philo on March 8th. The Lady Eagles took the match win with ease in just two sets (25-4, 25-15).
Leah Phipps had 7 aces. Taylor Jones and 8 aces and 3 kills. Jaidyn Alexander had 1 ace and 5 kills. Morgan Lehmkuhl had 1 kill. Bailey Presslor had 3 aces and Whitnie Haton had 1 ace.
The Regional Championship match was against Judah Christian on March 10th. Both teams battled back and forth, but the 8th Grade Chrisman Lady Eagles came out as Regional Champions.
The ladies defeated Judah Christian in two sets (25-16, 25-16).
Leah Phipps had 3 aces. Taylor Jones had 3 aces and 3 kills. Jaidyn Alexander had 2 aces and 3 kills. Morgan Lehmkuhl had 2 kills. Bailey Presslor had 1 ace and Whitnie Haton had 2 kills.
The girls moved onto Sectionals with an away match against Cissna Park on March 14th.
The Lady Eagles fell in two sets, ending their run (7-25, 6-25). Whitnie Haton had 1 ace and Adaleyn Miller had 1 kill.
