Chrisman Water Commissioner Brice Stratton
Q: Why did you want to be on the City Council?
A: I like seeing younger people involved in the school board and city council. I also enjoy being a helping hand, especially in a community that I live in.
Q: Who suggested it to you? Who brought you in?
A: I had several people talk to me about being on City Council. I had council member ask me about being interested in being on the council.
I had a city employee suggest it to me. I spoke with Rodney Wolfe about the position and the duties.
Q: What do you feel are the most important issues facing city government?
A: Health Care, Technology and Data, Environment, Budgets, Data and Infrastructures (sidewalks, sewer and water).
Q: What are your greatest strengths as City Commissioner?
A: I’ve been around the locating water, but not really been around the infrastructure. I am not very soft spoken and when things don’t seem correct, I will speak up.
Q: What do you consider to be your weaknesses?
A: I am still young and have a lot to learn about and learn how things work.
Q: What improvements do you think Chrisman needs?
A: Some of the equipment and technology will have to be updated for the years to come.
Q: What goals do you have for improving our town?
A: The city has been working hard with the water and sewer plant. I’m all for having nice things in this little town.
Q: What can the people do to make our town better?
A: Pick up trash, speak up when things need fixed and help out when and where they can.
