Lady Cards lose to Hutsonville/Palestine, beat Deland-Weldon

The Lady Cardinals continued their season on the road with a game against Hutsonville/Palestine on November 18th.
Once the game started, the Lady Cards were struggling from the start as Hut/Pal took a 14-9 lead. The Lady Cards were held scoreless in the second, while Hut/Pal extended their lead to 34-9 going into halftime.
In the second half, the Lady Cards scored just nine points, resulting in a 49-18 loss against Hutsonville/Palestine. Kendl Lemmon and Maecy Johnson led with seven points each. Alivia Brinkley and Makenzie Mitchell ended the game with two points each.
After two days rest, the Ladies were back on the road with a game against Deland-Weldon. From the start, both teams were evenly matched, not letting the others lead get too out of hand. In the first, it was the Lady Cards who held onto the lead with a score of 10-7.
In the second, a three pointer by Kendall Tevebaugh and Makenzie Mitchell, followed by a two by Alivia Brinkley put the Lady Cards in the lead with a score of 18-16 going into halftime.
In the third, Deland-Weldon kept Chrisman within reach, trailing 29-27. By the fourth, fans on both sides of the court were on the edge of their seats.
At the buzzer, the Lady Cards took a 40-38 victory.
Kendl Lemmon led with twelve points, followed by Makenzie Mitchell with ten. Kendall Tevebaugh and Alivia Brinkley finished with nine points each.
