The Chrisman Public Library Board met on November 18th at 7:00 p.m. for their monthly meeting.
For the month of October, a total of two hundred and seventy-nine items were loaned to patrons. Three hundred and twenty-one items were loaned to other libraries. One hundred and fourteen items were borrowed from other libraries.
A total of one hundred and forty-two new items were cataloged. Twenty right electronic books were checked out and thirteen internet user sessions were recorded.
The board would like to thank Lori & Rob Mallory for the Scare on the Square. They have been the main organizers and managers for many years.
They are truly imaginative and great designers. The haunted house changes every year!
Both Beth and Cheri stated they appreciate they have a kids hour where the younger ones can enjoy a walk through with some lights on and less scary drama.
They also wanted to thank the volunteer who were outdoors to help with people waiting to go in.
Those volunteers included Library Board members Kyle Lientz, Greg Lientz & Rick Jenness as well as Kristen Phipps, Mary Rank & Gerry Collett.
A thank you was also extended to all of the students who were part of the scare as well as Lori’s sister.
A total of one hundred and sixty-seven people came in the final night.
For the two weekends, the library was able to receive $1,331 for the event.
