Fall has arrived!
Cooler weather, warmer clothing, maybe a light weight blanket and it’s the perfect time to read a book outside!
And the colors will be vibrant, pumpkins will be all over town awaiting carving and thoughts of Halloween costumes will be in children’s heads.
And speaking of Halloween, a lot of people are working on the Scare on the Square to get it spookier and creepier than in the past.
But they are in need of some black plastic tarps and big plastic snakes, that if you’re looking for a good cause to donate them to, Scare on the Square would be greatly appreciative.
You can bring your donation to the Library and we will pass them on.
We had asked our Adult patrons to give a short review of a book they had just read and one has offered the following: M. said “Searching for You” by Jody Hedlund was “very good”. It is book 3 of the Orphan Train series and it pertains to the 1850s New York City orphanages. The Library has the first two books as well.
