On September 14th, the Chrisman Scotland Junior High Cross Country team traveled to compete at Salt Fork.
For the boys, Seth Ellis place first overall with a time of 14:02. Gage Tingley followed with a time of 17:06. Casen Rogers crossed the line with a time of 18:44, followed by Grant Wells with a time of 19:12. Amos Neal finished with a time of 19:29. Jasper Simpson ended the race with a time of 20:01. Carter Swinderman was closed behind Simpson with a time of 20:23. Gavin Ruff ended the race with a time of 21:28.
For the girls, Leah Phipps had a time of 15:45, followed by Lily Crawford at 18:24. Ellie Lorton finished with a time of 23:26. Autumn Ellis had a time of 24:54.
After a few days rest, the speedsters traveled to Mahomet to run at Lake of the Woods in the Bulldog Invite. Five of the runners set new personal records and one medaled.
Seth Ellis received a medal for his 19th place finished and set a PR of 12:12, which was previously 12:03.5. Bentley Alexander had a time of 14:12. Gage Tingley ran a time of 14:28. Amos Neal finished the race with a time of 16:13.
Casen Rogers ran a new personal record of 16:25, his previous record was 17:05. Grant Wells also ran a new personal record of 16:27. His old record was 16:56. Carter Swinderman had a time of 17:43. Gavin Ruff ran a time of 18:28, followed by Jasper Simpson at 19:44.
For the girls, Leah Phipps ran a new personal record with a time of 14:28. Her previous time was 14:34. Lily Crawford also ran a new personal record with a time of 15:31. Her previous personal record was 15:49. Autumn Baker ran a time of 21:21.
