Chrisman Library News

Submitted by the Chrisman Public Library

Just a reminder that our beautiful card catalog cabinet is just a decoration! We have our entire collection listed on-line.
Just go to and choose “my library” instead of “all formats” and you can see just the books that we have in Chrisman Public Library.
Of course, anyone with an active account can order from the other 500ish libraries in the Illinois Heartland system. If you have any questions call us at 217-269-3011 or better yet, come in and see us! Thanks!
We are looking forward to our annual Sidewalk Book Sale. We will have tables of books in front of the library and all we are asking is a donation to help our library! This will begin at 8:00 on Friday September 10 and go through Saturday September 11.
We’ll be here until sometime after the parade. Come and stock up on books! We have A LOT!!!
