Help Rescue The Seth Meers’ Tree

The tree planted at Chrisman Elementary in 1997 in memory of the first grader, Seth Meers was uprooted in the windstorm earlier this summer.
It was planted after his death on March 2, 1997 by the grade school students, especially his first grade classmates (1996-97); Mr. Dan Moore, Principal; Mrs. Eleanor Means, his first grade teacher; and Mrs. Marilyn Fischer, the other first grade teacher.
Mrs. Means had a plaque placed by the tree. We want to raise about $500 to plant another tree this fall in Seth’s memory.
If you are interested in helping us, please donate whatever you can to the CHRISMAN GRADE SCHOOL TREE account at the Longview Bank & Trust in Chrisman.
Thank you!
Marilyn Fischer and Dan Moore
