Greetings, friends and neighbors!
Philippians 4:19 tells us that God will meet all our needs according to His riches in glory. Our heavenly Father promised to give us good things. One need that we all have is love. Through faith in Jesus, we’ve been adopted as the heavenly Father’s children. But before we can experience this, God’s justice had to be satisfied. We were all born with a sinful nature that is bent away from the Lord. Out of love for us, God sent His son Jesus to take our place and experience judgment for sin. Out of his deep love and compassion for us, Jesus willingly suffered and died so we might become part of God’s family. (John 3:16-17). It is through our relationship with Him, this need for love is fully met and we are saved. God also provides two other basic needs-companionship and security. When we accept God’s offer of forgiveness, the Holy Spirit comes and lives within us with the promise that Jesus will never leave us (Hebrews 13:5). Therefore, we can rest in the fact that we are indeed God’s children forever. Our deep needs for love, companionship, and security are satisfied in our relationship with the Lord. Have you trusted Christ so that you can be a part of His family?
If you have a church home, I pray that you are faithful to it and to the family there. If you are searching for one, I would invite you to Chrisman Christian Church. Blessings to you all-Pastor Troy Warner
